Step 1: Consultation & Site Review
We start by getting to know your space and you. One of our master designers will visit your property for a full walkthrough, listen to your goals, and ask the right questions:
- How do you use your yard now?
- What do you want it to feel like when we’re done?
- What features are must-haves, and what’s optional?
We’ll take detailed measurements, photos, and assess everything from slopes to sun exposure so we can make smart design decisions from day one.
Step 2: 3D Design & Proposal
Next, we create a full-color, scale-accurate 3D rendering of your project so you can see your future backyard before we break ground. You’ll be able to explore angles, finishes, materials, and layout options that reflect both your vision and our structural expertise.
We’ll walk you through the plan, talk materials, finishes, and timelines, and provide a detailed proposal so there are no surprises. Once you approve the design, we’re off to the races.
Step 3: Permits, Planning & Scheduling
This is the part that slows most contractors down. Not us. Because we’ve worked with every building department across Suffolk and Nassau County, we know exactly what paperwork, surveys, and approvals are needed and how to get them quickly.
While we’re waiting on permits, we’re ordering materials, scheduling crews, and making sure everything is prepped for a smooth start. You’ll receive a clear timeline with milestones and expectations, plus updates every step of the way.
Step 4: Construction Begins
Once we have the green light, our in-house team handles everything: excavation, framing, plumbing, masonry, liner install, electrical, lighting, and final finishes. We never outsource core work to subcontractors. That means fewer delays, better communication, and a higher standard of quality.
During this phase, you’ll see your backyard take shape week by week. And because you’re assigned a dedicated project manager, you’ll always know who to call, what’s happening next, and how to reach us if you need anything.
Step 5: Final Walkthrough & Handoff
When construction is complete, we walk you through every feature of your new pool or outdoor space. We’ll teach you how to use and maintain your equipment, review your warranty details, and make sure every finish, fixture, and feature meets your expectations.
We don’t pack up until you’re completely thrilled with the result. And if you have questions later, we’re still just a phone call away.
